I found this cool Japanese artwork today (compliments of the Google Chrome Art Project Extension.)
It’s called “Scorpion” for obvious reasons. I really love the how its layers dive in and out of three-dimensional realism. In between the head and the tail are a series of bold graphic elements that seem unrelated. Yet the image is perfectly cohesive. Astounding.
